Large Butterfly by Renee Hathcoat
Inspiration: " The symbolic meaning of the butterfly is especially potent this year. Rebirth after cocooning, transforming life from death. 2020 is full of hardship, pain, death, depression. The future is a rebirth. Leather and Lace, Masculine/Feminine, Dark/Light, Hard/Soft, Death/Life. Rebirth, renewal, hope that beyond this period of cocooning and isolation there will be beauty, love, peace. The Lace is the soft flesh of the rebirth of love and hope in the future. The Leather side is the Hard strength through difficulty we need to get through and transform with a new hope for the future. Give to me your Leather, take from me my Lace, Purple Rain."
